Startup Guernsey launches Meet the Experts Clinics


Startup Guernsey is pleased to announce a new series of free “Meet the Experts” events for startups and entrepreneurs to learn from local experts in their field.

Startup Guernsey is pleased to announce a new series of free “Meet the Experts” events for startups and entrepreneurs to learn from local experts in their field. The next clinic will be on Marketing and will focus on creative design, digital and social media marketing. It takes place on Wednesday 6th April from 12-2pm at The Digital Greenhouse.

The event is kindly sponsored by Specsavers who will also be providing the keynote speakers, Graham Daldry, Creative Director and Tim Langlois, Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Specsavers.

There will also be short talks from The Potting Shed, Spike Communications, Bridge Digital, GB Consult, Lubiland and Andy Perkins Performance. The range of topics to be covered by the experts include brand building and writing a good creative brief, how to handle print and social media and how to work better with search engine optimization.

In addition, for those who would like to learn more about marketing, Andy Perkins from Andy Perkins Performance will showcase “Squared Online”, the digital marketing qualification developed by Google.

After the presentations, all of the experts will be on hand for one-to-one discussions which will allow local entrepreneurs to get some insight and advice on a range of marketing topics.
