First Discover Digital student internship programme is launched

Startup Guernsey and the Digital Greenhouse are delighted to partner with some of the island’s leading companies to offer the first Discover Digital student internship programme this summer in Guernsey.

The five-week paid summer internship has been designed specifically for the island’s post-16 students at Sixth Form, CofFE or university who are passionate about the digital world and seeking to work on projects for local employers on their digital projects.

There will be a variety of projects from data analytics and telecommunications and app development to the digital arts, robotics, coding, gaming and digital marketing

Running from 17th July until 18th August 2017, participating companies employing interns for one-week and five-week projects include KPMG, Sure, the States of Guernsey, JT, First Central Group, PwC and Healthspan. Facilitating the internships will be staff from Startup Guernsey, the Digital Greenhouse and The Potting Shed.

A presentation evening will be held at the Digital Greenhouse on 20th April for students seeking more information. You can register to attend here.
